I was wondernig if anyone has any advice for shipping (clothing, lanterns, new shoes) from Vietnam. I'm heading to Hue and want to send stuff to Canada from there. Also, would it be smarter to lug it through Laos and Northern Thailand in hopes of an easier time shipping (or cheaper) in Bangkok??? Thanks!

I'd definitely ship it from Vietnam rather than lug it through Laos etc. Post office would be a good start -- they should have a set-up for oversize surface-mail packages.

try going on the fedex site, you can get everything quoted online.
