Am planning my trip and would like to know the best way of travel for the following ..
Hanoi to Dong Hoi
Dong Hoi to HCMC or Dalat
Travel is for October so still lots of time till travel but wish to have things organised by end of July .. I think the train may run close to Hanoi - Dong Hoi, if so, then maybe not a problem .. but maybe the best way for Dong Hoi - HCMC is coach / flight ..
Any assistance will be great .. peterpan from Australia

Hi peterpan,
Train from Hanoi to Dong Hoi and again from Dong Hoi to Phan Rang Thap Cham and then bus to Dalat -- or train straight through to Saigon. If you don't want to do that much by train, then train south from Dong Hai to Da Nang and fly to saigon from there.
