Hello! We are a bit stuck- we fly into rach gia from phu quoc at 9.30am and would love info on best possible way to get from there to chau doc and then onto phnom penh... old posts say bus and then boat. will this give us a great view of the mekong? given our times, will we manage to catch the transport before it leaves?
All help would be awesome!

Hi Isobel,
You'll have no problems getting to Chau Doc (by bus) but you'll need to overnight there as the boat to Phnom Penh leaves in the morning.
Chau Doc's not a bad place -- head out to Sam mountain for sunset if you can.
