Mui Ne is a stop on most open Tours and there are also regular bus departures. Further option is train to Phan Thiet and then motorbike from there.

If you use open bus price will be 80.000 vnd for one way ticket. Use Sinh Cafe Bus. Or hire a private car 4-seats around 89 USD

To Mui Ne cheaper option is bus, cost 5 $ , bus schedules http://liveinmuine.com/services/bus-schedules/ ! By the train you can take the trip to Phan Thiet , but taxi cost to Mui Ne 25 $ !

If you fly to Ho Chi Minh late, you can get a car and driver from the Airport direct to Mui Ne . Fares quoted by Your Local Booking shows $100 one way for 3 persons in a small Toyota. How current this is I dont know. Feel free to make your own contact and if you do take up the service please report on these pages. Some might say it is expensive but we wanted a hassle free holiday as we were only in the country for 10 days and only 2 days in Muine. Driver was on time and very polite with a 20min stop in a 4 hour journey. You could ask your Hotel to source a fare for you.
There is no comparison cost wise between taking the Coach to Mui Ne or a Private car. Indeed there isn’t much time saved as well. However if you take the Car from HCMC airport on arrival you do save the cost of a night hotel charge, and the transfer taxi cost to your hotel. The big plus for the car is if you have more than one to share the car hire cost. A 7 seat car for instance would cost $100 shared by 5 passengers equals $20 per person. So for groups the private car wins hands down. It is quite inexpensive, convenient and comfortable.

Saigon to Muine by private car with VN Rent A Car, cost is USD 100/cab/trip, Cab is for 2-5 pax.
