Hi, first time poster here with a question.
I'm flying into Hanoi in a few days and was wondering if anyone could suggest a decent guesthouse within the old quarter?
I'm not looking for anything flash, just a clean and comfortable double room for around $10-15 per night.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Stayed at Central Stars Hotel in Hanoi. It's in the Old Quarter, but I forget what street. Perhaps search for it on Google.
$10 included cable, a/c, hot water, breakfast, free internet etc... You can bargain them down too. Very friendly staff.

Actually, here is the address. Its in a small lane off a big street so even the best of Motos might have trouble finding it for you...
8 dao duy tu lane, Hoankiem, Hanoi

Thanks for the recommendation. Will give it a look.
I've booked up for the first night in a place called the Hanoi Guesthouse which seems to have really good reviews across the board.
