We will be visiting these areas in July and are spending two nights in each place. Hue we are staying at the Orchard Hotel, Hoi An ; Indochine Hotel and Nhatrang the LightHotel. Are these Hotels Ok?
What would you recommend we see in these towns?
We are also travelling from Hue to Hoi An by car. Where can we stop en-route for a swim and sightseeing?

As for the hotels, I don't know. From the types of accommodations mentioned on Travelfish by members, few may know.
As an aside - have you bothered to use the Travelfish accommodation listings for your travel bookings? Well worth a look!
The trip from Hue to Hoi An passes many beaches. All you need to do is ask your driver to stop at the various beaches "for a look". Many of the beaches have been 'captured' by resorts such that only a local will know the tracks to the beaches beside the resort entries. Lonely Planet mentions Lang Co Beach, but there are more.
When travelling over the various 'ranges', your driver should be stopping so that you can take piccies, etc. Also, on the Hai Van Pass, make sure your driver doesn't use the (quicker) tunnel.
South of Hue there is an attractive set of swimming places on a cool mountain stream (Suoi Voi, or Elephant Springs). It's mentioned in Lonely Planet, and worth a look.

Orchid in Hue is small & OK. Indochine in Hoi An is lower 3 star at best, an ugly building & badly run.
