hi everyone,
my girlfriend and me will be travelling in vietnam throughout october. to spare some time, we are thinking about taking some flights in between, e.g. hanoi-danang, danang-hcmc and the like.
is it recommended to book those in advance or will we be able to book them one or two days before the flight in vietnam, which we would prefer? and how are the rates in the latter case (just an estimate...) and where would i book the flights?
as for the booking; does anyone have experiences with this website http://www.guidevietnam.com? is it the official booking site for vietnam airlines?
lots of questions. thanks for any answers.
cheers.

Air Vietnam (full priced carrier) and Jetstar (low cost carrier) are the two carriers.
Both are reputable.
In October, the Jetstar price for Hanoi - Danang is 400,000VN dong (=app US$23), and Vietnam Airlines is 476,000VN dong (=app US$27).
These prices will change if you leave the booking to the last minute - by how much, others with more experience will advise.
Generally, October is not a major travel period, so leaving your options open won't incur the problem of full flights.
Hope this helps
Cheers
