Has anyone had any experience with Indochina Sails for a two day, one night Halong Bay tour? Is the tour operator Handspan an operator for Indochina sails (the junks have the same names and look similar in the photos)?

Few travellers will make recommendations about Vietnamese travel agents because Vietnamese travel agents have a poor record for delivering what they promise, even honouring promises.

There are a couple of exceptions, eg. www.sinhcafevn.com & www.http://www.columbuscruise.com.

Elsewhere, people have indicated that neither Handspan nor Ocean Tours actually own the boats they are booking people on. So, that means they may each be using the same boat tour company.

But, I suggest it would be best if you typed in Handspan into the 'Search Travelfish' box located in the grey area up the top of this page (and then hit the 'search' button). That will reveal pages that other travellers have made comments about that company.

Similarly, type Ocean Tours into the same box and look at the pages that are then listed.

Cheers
