How long until the Vietnamese, Vietnamese this place - which right now has to be own of the most spectacular places on earth.
Can't wait to hear a tour guide tell me that during the American War the NVA and Viet Cong used the place as a regular hide-out - they just forgot to tell the world.

Wow I totally missed this.
There's a bit more detail about the cave (which is near Phong Nha in Quang Binh province) here The pics on the link posted by anhluc are great!

I went to look at wiki and this is what they had to say (note the reference to Champa steles, and obviously the [then] knowledge).
