Hey, just wondering what's the best way to get a good deal on flights out of Vietnam? Planning on going on to South Korea and then to Canada.
Are travel agents the way to go? Or should I stick with Expedia and sites like that?

Try this site as it deals with only the low cost carriers (sadly, not all).
For some countries, the airports are government owned, and they won't do deals with low cost carriers. Thus, none fly there.
Seoul is an example.
If you have to go full cost carrier to a country, sometimes you can go low cost part way and full cost to enter.
Unfortunately, no low cost carriers go northwards from Hanoi. Thus, you have to take a full cost carrier.
That link to AirNinja still links you to Orbitz, Kayak & Expedia.
Perhaps the cheapest airline will be China Southern with one stop for about $700.
Cheers
