I have heard you can take a 3 day 2 night boat trip through the mekong delta from HCMC to PP. Is this true? Is it worth it? Or would you just recommend flying?

I belive theres also a possibility to go with a speedboat, taking half a day.
Might be a cheaper, and non the less, a more enviromental-friendly choice.

we were in HCMC until last week and there were a mulitude of companies around the Pham Ngu Lao area offering 3 day/2 night trips. From memory, it was around $45. 2 day trips were also available for a bit cheaper ($36?) and you have a choice of the slow boat or for $5 more, a fast boat. Visa's for cambodia are sorted on the border, we were quoted around $20-25.

We will probably book a tour from HCMC to PP, but we want to leave HCMC on a Sunday. Anyone knows if there could be issues with that or are these tours run 7/7?

The tours run daily as far as I know. There are so many of them you shouldn't have too many problems finding one that is going.
