Hanoi/Ha Long/Sapa or HCMC/Mekong Delta?

    Hi,

    I can't choose between going to Northern Vietnam (Hanoi/HaLong Bay/Sapa) and HCMC (inclusive Mekong delta tour). The timing is beginning to mid-December.
    What do you experienced travellers recommend?

    The Mekong Delta definitely has the better weather in December -- Phu Quoc Island is especially good.

    I'd be sticking to the south.

    Agree - South definitely this time of year.
