We are travelling through Cambodia to Vietnam by land and i heard about the Visa on Arrival thing but understood that it can only be done if im coming by plane to Vietnam (so i collect it at the airport). The thing is we are doing it by land. Do i have to get a visa at the Vietnam Embassy or is there a better way??

Just get your visa for Vietnam at the embassy in Phnom Penh in Cambodia.
