    Description: Since 1906, the Société Anonyme de Chalandage et Remorquage d'Indochine was renowned for its cruises of Halong Bay onboard single-wheeled paddle steamers with such evocative names as Emeraude, Perle, Saphir and Rubis. A century later, Emeraude Classic Cruises re-introduced a new regular Halong Bay cruises services with the launch in December 2003 of the Emeraude, a vessel designed in the tradition of grand steamers of yesteryear to accommodate up to 76 passengers in 38 luxury cabins & suites.
