Stayed December 2006. Staff very friendly, helpful and efficient. English good. $5 for a double room with a private bathroom with a hot shower…need we say more? Room not 100% clean (walls have some mysterious marks on them) but spacious. Bed was good and firm with decent pillows, towels okay, blankets were gross. Quiet! Bathroom clean with flush western toilet and hot shower, hot water doesn’t last too long though. Electrical outlets. Don’t know about bag storage but sure they have. No internet services. Very few internet cafés in the area, we only found 3, 2 of which didn’t have a connection that day and the 3rd charged us 1500 dong per minute (we were clever enough to not ask the rate beforehand) – do not let any internet café charge you more than 300 dong per minute! Restaurant cheap and you get what you pay for, food either too oily or too dry, but still decent overall. Laundry service is available as well as motorbike and bicycle hire. No international payphones that we saw. Good tours, we did a $10 daytrip and people from another hotel on the exact same tour paid $15.
