we slept four nights in the Family Guesthouse in Sapa. This guesthouse is about one year old and runned by a fantastic family. A room for two persons was last month only US$7,- incl. a clean room with fantastic view! hot water, heater and free internet and free Sapa tea, and nice talks with the familymembers and receptionist ;) It's a really good offer, as the hotels and guesthouses are more expensive than anywhere else in Vietnam.
they also can book more day hikes with guides and traintickets... cheaper than anywhere else in Sapa!
