Bahdja is a unique new restaurant in Saigon, serving up a selection of traditional Algerian dishes and North-African favourites. As it should, Couscous Royale plays the starring role amongst all the mouth-watering dishes on the menu.
The family-run restaurant is literally an Algerian oasis in the heart of Ho Chi-Minh city’s busy district 1. Ahmed, a trained chef with years of experience, runs the kitchen with the aim of bringing his mother’s home cooked traditional couscous to his customers. Anna, his better half, front of house with her precise attention to detail that can be felt the second you walk in and discover the baroque chic meets Algeria interior.
Bahdja is open for lunch Mon-Fri 11:30-14:00 and dinner from 6pm Monday to Saturday. You can find them in the right-hand corner of the Au Lac 2 Hotel’s courtyard, 87-89-91 Ho Tung Mau street.
