Very busy district 1 is great for backpackers, but not for a good nights sleep. However, try Luan Vu Guesthouse- 35/2 Bui Vien Street- if you want to be in the thick of things but away from the noises of this bustling city. Its down a small alley, and the staff are lovely. Rooms are small, albeit very clean, and internet and breakfast are included in the price.
