Planning to spend some time in Phu Quoc mid July. Fly to the island from HCM and then hydrofoil/ferry back to mainland and setting off from either Ha Thien or Rach Gia to Can Tho, Vin Long, and surrounds, possibly working way to Vung Tau and back to HCM. Is anyone aware of land travel problems in doing this? Propose to take about 7-10 days when leaving Phu Quoc to do this.

Sounds like the trip Im about to do Chris. I leave in a week. Can you let me know how you went? Any tips or things to avoid?
Did you catch buses/boats? Was 7 days long enough? Where were the best places...
