    After a frigid night in the highly touted (by Travelfish) Cat Cat View Hotel in SaPa on 28 December 2008, we fled to the Friendly Hotel a few blocks away. It's a ten bedroom place opened in mid-2008 that we'll give high points for zealous service, a cozy restaurant/bar, in-room space heaters and a very bearable $15 price for a double. The rooms are funky but fully functional. David & Tuyet Brown, Hanoi
