I believe I have read somewhere that it is not possible to travel to Phu Quoc Island other than through Vietnam. We had hoped we could go there from Kampot or somewhere along the Cambodia coast. Is this possible?

When I was there last year, it was not possible. We went to Ha Tien and took the ferry from there.

There has been talk of boats running from the Cambodian side of the border for soime time now, but as far as I know, nothing has happened yet.
