i'm an indian..if i travel to bangkok from singapore by train..do i need a malaysian visa..if so where should i get it and how much it costs?

Yes, Indian nationals require a visa to enter Malaysia. A transit visa should be enough, but you will still need to get one beforehand. I suppose the nearest Malaysian embassy/mission would be the place to go.
