Travel to Viet Nam 25 October-25 November 2006
Travellers to Viet Nam should be aware that no D class visitors’ visas will be issued by the Vietnamese government from 25 October to 25 November 2006. This is a precautionary security measure to cover the period of the APEC Conference to be held in Ha Noi from 12 to 19 November 2006.

Those, however, intending to visit Viet Nam during this period for the purpose of work, attending a conference, cooperation, investment, visiting, who have an invitation from an office, organisation or individual in Viet Nam will have their visa issued under the current Vietnamese regulations.

Any enquiries about visas for Viet Nam should be directed to the nearest Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
