Crossing Borders with a Scooter?

    Is it possible to:

    1) Purchase (EASILY!) a scooter is Thailand?
    AND then:
    2) Travel with this scooter through Thailand, into Laos, Cambodia and then back into Thailand?
    OR:
    3) Are the border crossings with a scooter not possible for foreigners in these countries?
