Visas - travelling from Thailand - Laos - Cambodia

Hi,

I am just wondering about the best way to get my Laos and Cambodia visas.

I plan to travel into northern Thailand and cross the border to Laos. Can I get my visa for Laos easily at the border crossing or would I be better to get it at a travel agent or embassy in Bangkok?

Then I plan to fly from Vientiane to Phnom Phen. Can I get my Cambodia visa at the airport upon arrival or am I better to get it at a travel agent or embassy in Bangkok?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Rachel,

Get your lao visa at the border crossing and get your cambodian visa on arrival at the airport - easy peasy!

Hi there

Sorry - posted my Lao visa question in the general Lao forum, but want to know if it's easy peasy to get a 30 day visa at the Thai/Lao border (I believe 14 day visas are standard).

Hi SnowQueen,

To my knowledge, 30 day visa on arrival is now standard at all Lao crossings with Thailand.
