Hi, I was supposed to go to Cambodia mid trip, so therefore getting another 30 day visa for Thailand, but plans changed and now when I leave im going over my visa by 3 days. Does anyone know what the current overstay rate is?? I asked at Bangkok immigration on arrival and they told me 100 baht a day, but ive heard different stories from 200 to 500 baht a day. Does anyone know for definite. Ive tried looking on official Tahi websites but I cant find anything.

Hi shaana,

The overstay fee is 500B per day for two or more days -- if you overstay for one day there is no fee, two days=1,000B, three days 1,500B, four days 2,000B etc
