From Laos to Vietnam

    Hello everyone,

    Planning my trip and wondering how is best to do crossing border from Laos to Vietnam, Last stop in Laos is Vientiane and thought to cross the border on Nam Phao, so I take bus to Lak Sao and from there catch the bus to border.

    Any suggestions what time is best to cross? Is there anything worth to see and stop on the way to Lak Sao from Vientiane? Any troubles happening on the border? is it easy to cath the bus from the border to Vinh?
