a friend and i are heading to SE asia in feb we plan to do southern laos southern vietnam and cambodia starting and finishing at bangkok, this will take about 4-5 weeks. When back in bangkok we are meeting a friend and going to chiang mai and back into nothern loas coming out at vientiane.
Overall this will be two trips into laos (both under 15 days ) and 3 visits into thailand.
Will this be allowed, i have this huge fear of not being let into the country at the border!!!
any help will be much appreciated

    Hi cassidy123,

Depending on your nationality, each time you enter Thailand you'll be granted a 30-day visa-free stay. Each time you re-enter you'll be granted another 30-day stay. Given you'll be in the area all up for just 4-5 weeks, you should have no problem.

Yes you can enter Laos as many times as you want, but you'll need a new visa for each entry. The visa on arrival for Laos is now for 30 days - not 15.

    Hope that helps.
