Entering Laos from Cambodia on Vietnamese Motorbike?

    I have read in a few places that a one-month Laos visa may be changed to one week if you bring in a motorbike.
    Here in particular:

    Can anyone confirm or dispel this?

    We have arranged a multi-entry three-month visa for Vietnam but have been told that Cambodian and Laos VOA is pretty hassle-free.
