I'd like to spend a few days in the Mekong Delta of Vietnam before hitting some of the islands in the Gulf of Thailand - Phu Quoc (Vietnamese) and Ko Chang (Thailand). It seems daft to return inland when the islands are so close together (plus the added expense of paying the Cambodian visa again). Does anyone know if there is a way through? Thanks very much.

Welcome to Travelfish, juekennedy!

The only way would be if you had your own boat -- unfortunately there is no regular passenger ferries on routes like the one you describe.
