Cambodia-Laos border crossing accessible with floods?

    Posted from within Vietnam.

    With all the recent flooding that is going on, is it still possible to get from Siem Reap to the border crossing that leads to Si Phan Don? I am in Vietnam at the moment so I will not be there for a few more weeks but I would like to know if anyone has used it recently.

    I don't know about getting between Siem Reap and that crossing, but the border itself should be open - water levels in the Mekong are currently all below flood level and for the most part decreasing. http://www.mrcmekong.org/
