Train travel Penang - Bangkok

    I plan to travel by train from Penang, Malaysia to Bangkok, Thailand.
    Does anyone know if it's affected by the flood?
    Have anyone travel experience this recently?

    The train is definitely running, just took it a couple of days ago. It does go through some affected areas, though, meaning that the train skims the water as well.
