I understand a 30 days visa is obtainable for a flight arrival in Cambodia but if we arrived at Phnom Pehn by boat from Vietnam via the Mekong Delta would this still entitle us to a 30 day visa or is it classed as an overland entry and we would only get 15 days.
thank you
Actually you are thinking about Thailand, where the 30 day permission to stay stamp is issued for arrival by air,and 15 days for overland travel. It's not the case in Cambodia where the initial visa on arrival is always good for 30 days, irrespective of how/where you arrive

thank you - we are now in Cambodia and indeed have 30 days. We have already applied for another 30 days, this cost 45 dollars per person from an agency. I believe you can apply just the once for an extension - just in case anyone needs to know who is reading this!

You'll get 30 days entering Cambodia at the river crossing reached from Chau Doc in Vietnam.
Cheers
