Transit visa in BKK required??

    Hi,
    I am an Indian national and will be travelling to hongkong with my family for a holiday.I have a connecting flight at BKK and the transit time is less than 4 hours.I do not intend to leave the airport.Do i need a transit visa for thailand??

    Your question can probably be best answered by the airline you're flying into BKK. If you're able to check through to HK and stay airside without clearing customs and immigration you'll be fine. Otherwise you'll need to get a Thai visa-on-arrival as applies to Indian nationals for the equivalent of 1000 Thai Baht. It really depends on the two(?) airlines, if they have a "fly-through" arrangement.
