I have paid for a 30 day Visa in Vietnam but filled the leaving date in wrong saying that i would be leaving on the 2nd Jan when my flight is on the 6th.
Can anyone advise me as to what will happen if i turn up at the airport and try and explain this??
So do you mean you'll be overstaying the visa? ie., staying 34 days? if so it is a straightforward overstay and you'll be required to pay a fine on departure.
If you "paid for a 30 day visa", you should be fine for up to 30 days. There should be an experation date somewhere on the visa stamp. I don't think it really matters what you write for travel dates, as long as it's within 30 days.

No, i have only been in Vietnam for 8 days my visa expires on the 2nd as when i filled in the form to apply for my visa i got my dates mixed up.
I have a flight booked on the 6th and am worried about turning up at the airport an not being let on the flight or getting hit with a big fine.
