After visiting Laos for 2 weeks I would like to get to Phnom Penh from Don Khon. There are flights to Phnom Penh from Pakse via Vientane but geographically that doesn't make any sense.
I can cross over into Cambodia from Veun Kham but does anyone know if there is a convenient connection to Phnom Penh?
How long would it take?
The trip is straightforward. This story will take you through the mechanics of crossing the border and onwards transport to Phnom Penh is available in Stung Treng . The whole trip (from the islands to PP) takes the best part of a day.

sounds pretty easy. Border crossing from Veun Kham to Stung Treng and then onwards by bus (I guess) to Phnom Penh.
Thanks very much.
