Does Laos have any restrictions on re-entering within a certain time period?
We plan to enter at Huay Xai in mid-May, spend a few weeks in the north before heading on to Vietnam and Cambodia, and then enter again about the end of July from Veun Kham (getting the visa in Phnom Penh)to see southern Laos.

There's no restriction on re-entering -- many pop over the border and re-enter the same day to get another 30 days in Laos.
