Hi,
Is going into Laos from Cambodia via the remote border crossing pretty straightforward and relatively safe or is it best to fly from Cambodia?

It is straightforward and safe. There have been some rumours that the border has been closed, but I've heard otherwise -- best to ask around once you're in the country.

Hi all,
Has anyone experienced and could anyone please advise what is the normal route by river or land to get to Laos border from Phnon Penh?
Any interesting place nearby Laos border that worth spending a night there?
