Lao visa available upon arrival at Nameo?

    Anyone recently obtained a Lao visa upon arrival at Nameo border? Trying to confirm it is possible. Current Travelfish info is 3 years ancient.

    (Several recently-updated tourist company sites indicate specifically that it is possible to obtain visa at Nameo going into Lao...I've read conflicting info elsewhere)

    Yes Lao visa on arrival is available at that crossing -- we had a researcher cross there about a month ago.
