we are hoping to cross from vietnam (xa xia) to cambodia (Prek Chak).
has anyone done this crossing recently?
was its easy, hard, achievable?
did you get scammed? etc
did you go from Prek Chak (cambodia side) to shanoukville?
how did you do this? bus?
any info would be greatly appreciated.
bruce Moon you seem to be a wealth of knowledge, can you help?...

It's a pretty straightforward crossing -- outlined towards the end of this story: http://www.travelfish.org/feature/113

On this one, sorry, I haven't done it.
I know it as the Ha Tien border crossing.
Try these sites...
post 1 .
post 2 - with map .
I've read that bus services on the Cambodian side to Kampot are almost non-existant - apparently better to use m-bike or tuk-tuk.
Cheers
