Hi,
I am a US citizen traveling in SE Asia for 4 months. I am leaving from Indo in a couple weeks and hoping to go to the Philippines but in order to do that, the best way seemed to be to stop through Malaysian Borneo, so my flight is from Jakarta to Kushing. I will then go to Singapore, then the Philippines, then Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and then return to Malaysia but to the peninsula to see the islands when they are not in monsoon season. Since I will already have passed through Malaysian Borneo a couple months earlier, will I be able to get a new stay-permit for the Peninsula? I worry that I won't be there in time to use it, it will run out, and they wont' give me a new one. I know there are rules as to which one you have been issued first, can somebody please explain?
Thanks for your time!
