I arrive on a fairly late plane from canada at midnight in Singapore. And will stay in sunspots for 3 days but don't want to travel to the city that late. Was wondering if it's possible to sleep for free in arrivals before going through customs. Are there showers available? As a backpacker on a budget is this possible? Are there any late just lounges open to grab food?id prefer not to have to do the transit hotel our Lounge because they are super expensive. But if this is recommended does any ...

Taking 1mW Blue Laser Pointer On My Trip

Posted by bosummer on 15/1/2015 at 08:41

I am considering taking a very low powered 1mW blue laser pointer with my trip in Singapore. There is very strict test and limitation of using laser pointer. So I tested its power, it is just 1mW constantly. Many people are very annoy laser pointer pointing in public, certainly I cannot do it. I only want to use this 1mW blue laser pointer at night in my room during the trip. I love every kind of blue color or violet color things. I have gathered a lot of LED light and laser pointers at my hous ...

Great Singapore Hostels

Posted by somtam2000 on 24/3/2014 at 21:32

In early 2014, we put together a list of what we thought were the best 30 hostels in Singapore. After much deliberation, we pared it back to 15 places, and then in February 2014, we went and stayed a night in each of the 15. From those 15 nights we shaved the very best down to 10 Great Hostels in Singapore. The first five are now online. #1 Fisher BnB #2 Rucksack Inn Hong Kong Street #3 Wink Hostel #4 Bunc @Radius LittleIndia #5 The Green Kiwi I'll get the other five up tomorrow as I need to ...

Singapore Onward Travel Proof

Posted by mooball on 29/4/2011 at 13:03

I'll be entering Singapore in June from Australia on Jetstar. I understand that there is an official requirement for people entering Singapore to have proof of an onward journey as is the case with many countries. However, I also understand that immigration officials in Singapore don't check for proof of onward travel. My question is, do Jetstar in Australia check for proof of onward travel? I called Jetstar and they told me there is no requirement at checkin to prove that you have onward trave ...
