this vilage just outside pattaya is never mentioned in the travel books.It is a lovley fishing village with bars,restaurants and hotels the beach is 3km of sand fringed by palm trees with fantastic sunsets and pattaya is 30 minutes but a world away.we stayed at siamcourt a lovley resort and wandered the town at night.there are a few bars the hideaway hidden up a back street who specialize in curry,the nags head for pool the lizard lounge for great food and live music our favorite bar by far,and ...

I'm arriving at BKK' Suvarnabhumi Airport at 8.40a.m. Now my question is: What's the best option to get to Koh Chang? I know there are Bangkok Airways flight to Trat, but I didn't want to book it yet, because there's never a guarantee that I'll arrive on time and thus I'd miss the flight. I might book one once I'm at Suvarnabhumi. I also know that there are plenty of options from Bangkok Downtown but I really don't wanna go there first. The Rendezvous Guesthouse in Chiang Mai is really super nice and the food is good too. Stayed there in October 2009 after hearing of this spot from friends with lots of Chiang Mai experience. Very clean fan room for 480 baht (breakfast and good coffee included) with wifi, cable TV, private bath and shower (hot) and the best bed I have ever had in an asian guesthouse!! This guesthouse (Little Home Guesthouse and Bungalow)is really clean, comfortable and affordable. The bungalows are located right next door to the Shin Sane guest house and is newer. We stayed two nights... and the owner, and his family, were great! They were very pleased to help in any way and booked us our onward travel with no hassle or commission.
