Which would be the better location for a family? and will the weather be ok in October? Also, would it be best to organise our holiday through a travel agent, or do it my self on the internet? Would Air Asia be ok to travel with, or would we be better flying Singapore Airlin ...

travelfish is censoring posts

Posted by flyhigher on 2/6/2011 at 12:27

I made a post on available apartments for rent in Nha Trang. I thought it was useful as it is something difficult to find. A couple of days later travelfish's message read: "This post has been deleted -- either for being a duplicate or because it was spam." It was neither a duplicate nor spam but I suspect it conflicted with travelfish's commercial interests. The apartment provider was apparently not yet a commercial partner of travelfish... So be wary of travel guides that claim to be ...

Thao Nhi guesthouse Ben Tre - nice setting, but watch out for the owner

Posted by bone on 10/10/2009 at 19:59

Thao Nhi is a guesthouse about 11km from Ben Tre town. It's recommended as a good budget option by the Rough Guide, and since we were unimpressed by the hotels in Ben Tre town itself, we decided to Honda over and give it a go. It's in a beautiful area, in a village among coconut palms, with lovely paths for bicyling and some spectacular boat trips into the surrounding channels. So at first we were very happy - but there are a couple of caveats: first, it's not as budgetary as it looks. T ...
