I've been in Can Tho a few times recently (I live in Hanoi) and I stumbled upon "Beauty Salon Paul: for women and men" 1 block in from the waterfront in Can Tho. The salon is a small store front run by a nice woman who speaks excellent English. She and her assistant do haircuts, nails, and foot massage for great prices. Currently in Da nang, VN and ate lunch with a friend at Bun ngon...cua nguoi Viet located at 04 Hoang Van Thu. The restaurant was extremely clean and the staff very friendly. The menu has photos which make it easy to order if you are not fluent in Vietnamese. I had the Bun thit nhung with Nem Ha Noi egg rolls and it was fantastic. Cannot say enough about this place.
