Surfing at Sunset, Senggigi, Lombok, Indonesia

Sengiggi is a popular resort town on the island of Lombok, on the opposite side of the Lombok Strait from Bali (the mountains in the background are slopes of volcanoes on that island). We spent a few days in this town and made friends with some of the local surfers - an incredibly friendly and helpful lot (in my experience, something quite rare in local surfers). Although the sea looks very flat, there is actually a decent wave, but they're in fact behind me in this photograph.
