"She'll be alright, inshallah"

"She'll be alright, inshallah"

Diyarbakir (Turkey 2012). Spent an hour or so with this kind woman and her husband. Her husband's a shopkeeper, she has three children, two girls and a boy. As every human being, she too has a sadness for which there is no cure. Her oldest daughter can't get pregnant. I prefer to hear those stories before I shoot a portrait. It makes me care.
