Eat and meet

Ko Kong

For a town of this size, Ko Kong has a reasonable choice of options for eating and drinking. Ko Kong's main Thai restaurant, Baan Peakmai is a short walk from the traffic circle and does reasonable Thai food, though its a shame there are not more of the garden seating. Service can be glacial so take a bag load of patience with you.

Quite a popular hang for the local expats, the menu at Bob's dishes out is worth a mention with all the standard English pub standards including pea and ham soup and fish and chips. Probably not to everyone's taste, but if you've got a western food crave, this place is difficult to beat. Heartily recommended to us by Ko Kong regulars.

Set in the same premises as Champa Guesthouse the Sunset Bar is a great place to drop by for a sunset drink and chat. Ideal location with comfortable seating and good company. Recommended.
