While the mainstay of Angkorian eateries are the basic stalls that dot the base of the individual monuments, more sophisticated options are beginning to appear.

Though it seems half the businesses in town have incorporated Angkor into their names, this cafe' actually deserves its moniker, with a choice location directly across the road from Angkor Wat. Food and drink are provided by the famous Blue Pumpkin chain and sleek wooden ambiance by the boutique Artisans d'Angkor. There's also an outdoor seating area, filled with flowers and manicured shrubs. It's paved with weathered terracotta tiles and tour buses are nearly screened off by bamboo fences.
