Out by the bus station, this popular Thai student hang out thankfully has no monkeys but offers cheap food and drink. It's not a bad spot to kill time at I you're waiting for a bus, though probably not worth travelling across town for. Open from afternoon till late.

A night market springs up in the large open area beside the train station, offering typical cheap fare. Some of the stalls have small English menus.

Previously Chan Chao Restaurant, this popular Thai country-style bar is a fun spot to relax in the evening over cold drinks and good spicy Thai food. Live entertainment is often thrown in for free.

Near the Nett Hotel - Lopburi

This is quite a good spot, with a broad range of Thai food and ice-cold drinks. Other than the night market and Sahai Phanta, this is the best place in town for a dinner.
